Piecekeeper: Relics of Osiris

All was well in the kingdom of Egypt. Osiris, great-grandson of Ra, reigned over all the land with an even temper and hearty spirit. Egypt grew and prospered, until...

Set, the god of chaos, Osiris' brother, invited everyone to a grand party. There, he showcased a golden coffin and told whoever could fit inside that they would be allowed to have it. Everybody tried, but nobody fit. Finally, Osiris laid down inside the coffin. Set slammed the lid closed, springing a trap that sliced his body to pieces. The king was dead.

You are Isis. The goddess of life, Osiris' wife, and a powerful magician, who stood beside him as queen through it all. Shock and panic surrounded you. You tried to pursue Set, but to no avail. Together, you and your sister Nephthys came up with a plan that would bring Osiris back. Though Set had scattered the pieces of Osiris throughout the kingdom; if you were able to recover them all, you could resurrect your dead husband and restore order to Egypt.

However, Set was crafty, and hid the pieces with people that would use the magical powers they granted for themselves. You'd have to be just as crafty as he was to get them back. But you would get them back. For yourself, for Egypt, and for revenge.

This visual novel was created as the semester project for the GDD3000: Story and Narrative Design course at UCCS, produced by a team of eight people with each body part's quest being written by a different person! We all hope you enjoy!!
